The Graduate

Reality, does it follow movies, or does it re-inact them? For alot of people it is a re-enactment of the there lives. Many people have gone threw things that Benjim went threw in the movie. Getting people to admit that they did it is a totally different story in itself. Life has many obstacles and awkward times. If you choose top make them more awkward life will become crazy. Which is the case in the movie The Graduate. In the movie the graduate a young man named Benjim Braddock gets seduced by one of his parents friends, Mrs. Robenson. Mrs. Robenson is 44 at the time and Benjim is 21. She trys and gets him alone at her home but under his better judgement he decides to stay out of that situation. Then a few days later he decides that he can not stay away from Mrs. Robenson's moves any longer. They arranged to meet at the Taft hotel and have a drink, both knowing what was going to happen later that night. Sure en ought what everyone thought was going to happen did happen. They start meeting there more often and have more and more relations.
After some time Ben decides he doesn't want to meet with her anymore but starts seeing her daughter. He takes her doughtier out on a date and they have a rather good time. Then the daughter comes home one day when Ben and the mom are together in the room and Ben tells the daughter, Eliane that he has been seeing her mom. Then she tells her dad and they get a divorce.
Later in the movie Ben trys to get Eliane back. He goes to her college and fallowed her around because he is obsessed with her. Once he gets her to talk to him, he tells her how much he likes her and he gets interrupted by her boyfriend. They leave been. He finds out that her and her boyfriend are getting married. Ben does not want that to happen so he shows up at the wedding and causes all sorts off trouble. He steals her away from her Boyfriend/Husband.
There is another movie that they made some years later to go on after the graduate, it is called Rumor Has It. In Rumor has it Eliane has a daughter. Elaine has passed away. So her daughter is unsure about everything. Her daughter decides that she will look into see if she may have a different father. She discovers that her mom ran away the day of her wedding and went to Mexico with a man named Ben Bradook. She trackers down Ben and discovers that he is not her father. Ben starts to use his moves and seduces her, making it the 3rd generation of women in the family to sleep with him.
The director of the graduate is Mike Nichols.
Benjamin Braddock-Dustin Hoffman
Mr. Robinson -Murray Hamilton
Mrs. Robinson-Anne Bancroft
Elaine- Katharine Ross
My favorite quote from the movie was " Mrs. Robinson, are you trying to seduce me." I like that quote because without that quote the movie would not be the way it is.
I think that the movie The Graduate was a very good movie and i gave it a 4 out of 5 on my scale. If you ever want to watch a movie that will make you feel awkward around your parents then this is the movie for you.

Physico

BANG! you look around to make sure that no one noticed that you jumped. After you realize that what is there is not going to hurt you you slowly come out from under your blankets.
Horror movies, ain't they just the best genera for movies. They are the only type of movie that can make you paranoid of everything, and i mean every single little thing. I once watched a movie where a little Teddy bear killed people and ever seance them i check my Teddy bears to make sure that they are safe. One of the more recent horror movies that i have seen is the movie Psycho, Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. If i were to rank this movie on a scale of one to 10, 10 being the best of the best and one being a fall asleep during the opening credits i would give psycho a 8. I rated it this because for the time period it was created in they did a really good Job.
Some of the main actors are Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates, Janet Leigh as Marion Crane, Martin Balsam as Detective Milton Arbogast, John Gavin as Sam Loomis, and Vera Miles as Lila Crane. I thought that the acting of this movie was OK. I don't think it was the best acting of the time but it was defiantly better than some of the acting i have seen.
The movie is about a women who steals $40,00 from her work and goes to a motel. At the motel she meets the motel owner and he finds her attractive. Later that night the girl got stabed to death in the shower. Meanwhile, her sister and her lover were looking for hear because they herd that she had stolen all that money. They went to the same motel that she had been in when she was murdered. They look around and see evidence that she has been there. They go to the owner and while the man is asking the owner questions the women sneaks up to the owners house and discovers that the owner has his mothers corps in the basement. turns out that he has had her corps ever seance he dug it up after the funeral. He had been pretending that he was his A quote i remember is said by Norman Bates and it says "Mother, please...!" I think that this is a memorable quote because it showers how he really was messed up in the head.
Over all i thought this movie was a good movie to watch and to see how other moves learned and used this movie as a learning thing . I enjoyed watching this movie and i know if you enjoy watching horror movies that you will really enjoy this movie.
